​This Writing Symposium Series – the first of its kind – brings together leading voices, all advocating for survivors of cultic abuse to advance their healing process through the written word. As survivors themselves, the speakers are well-versed in the unique challenges survivors of cultic abuse face. Dr Dan Siegel strongly encourages creating a coherent narrative out of one’s lived experiences – no matter how convoluted or heinous – because it can assist with resolving past trauma.
