Lori Nanan

Lori Nanan’s journey of healing from narcissistic abuse began when she defected from an organization rife with culty dynamics in 2020. After leaving the largely coercive and intolerant industry this organization called home, Lori’s discovery of resources covering topics such as coercive control and narcissism helped her begin to pave the path forward.

Lori is a pursuing master’s degree in the Psychology of Coercive Control at the University of Salford. She is looking forward to gaining a deeper understanding of cult dynamics in general and plans to focus her studies on the unlikely places where power often goes unchecked, such as for-profit schools and grassroots political organizations.

Lori helped design the Living Cult Free website and works as part of the social media team.
